It may seem obvious, but it is perfectly acceptable to tote your
own food along as you enjoy the sights. Local eateries,
especially around the historic areas can mean lots of money and
long lines. Eating your favorite picnic foods on a bench
while taking pleasure in the scenery will save some money and time
(not standing in food lines). Be sure to pack plenty of
water or juice as drink machines are very expensive.
