"A Children's Kaleidoscope" discovery room.
Hands-on kids activities include making rubbings of 18th-century
woodcuts, trying on period clothing and copying from a hornbook.
Watch cannons and muskets being loaded
and fired or wool being made for cloth at the Continental Army
encampment and 18th-century farm. Costumed interpreters
bring the Revolution to life.
Stories of sunken ships are featured at
the "Yorktown's Sunken Fleet" exhibit. Learn about
ships lost or scuttled during the Yorktown siege.
